MU Tribal Students' Union dissolved

Imphal August 13: The executive committee and the core member committee of Manipur University Tribal Students' Union dissolved the Manipur University Tribal Students' Union(MUTSU) for the session 2009-10 with the completion of its tenure.

In a press release , Information Secretary, MUTSU, Lanminthang Tawmbing informed that in a meeting of the executive committee and the core member committee held on August 12 it was decided to dissolve the MUTSU. It was also resolved that the outgoing president will remain as care taker president till a new executive committee for the session 2010-11 is constituted, the press release added.

The press release further mentioned that Lunminthang Michael Haokip, Adakho Poji and Katingpou have been appointed as chairman, and members of election committee.
