A boy demands love, trust, care, service, respect, understanding, praise, etc from his lover who also
demands the same treatment from him. Sometimes the demand and expectation are so high that they
break up. Husband and wife are two sides of a coin. Though they are pronounced as one after marriage, many differences could not be prevented from popping up. These differences are another name for needless demand and pipe dream (idea or plan very unlikely to happen).
Market (buying and selling) is all about demand and supply. If the demands are high and the supply could not meet the rising demands, it is likely that the price of that commodity is high. No one but the poor will suffer because of unnecessary demand and utilization of commodity by few moneyed families.
Today, there is a growing demand for IT student in India and abroad. As a result, IT student are getting the highest priority in finding jobs. Moreover, the earnings of this IT student touch the sky. The consequence is bitter. The present world has become a hell for those who opted for other fields especially the Arts student. There is less than a little room for them to breathe. This changing trend has indeed made them looks like good for nothing. Leading private companies has made an amusement out of their degree and knowledge.
Hockey is the national game of India. The craze over cricket has undermined the importance of our national game. The demand for cricket in our country is so high that some crazy cricket fans do not hesitate to give Sachin Tendulkar the title of God. There were instances where Indian cricket fans burned the house of the players who played poorly, smashed their own T.V. set or even went to the extinct of committing suicide when India lost the important match. Even football, which is the most played
game in the world, could not swing its magic stick in India. Unlucky are those who want to be Beckham, Ronaldo, or Messi in India. Lajong’s Eimi players Seikhohao Tuboi and Thangboi Haokip are Kuki’s Beckham and Ronaldo. They could as well be others’ Beckham and Ronaldo, had the Koi le Vai come to feel the excitement of football or at least the Indian government sanction huge fund for the infrastructural development of football.
NSCN (IM) and UNC demand for amalgamation of 4 hill districts of Manipur into Nagaland is not authentic. It is not justified on the ground that these hill districts are also home to Kukis who ruled over these lands according to their customary laws and norms. Even today, Kukis are the owner and the master in their occupied lands. In fact, in the two hill districts (Chandel and Senapati), the Kukis are the predominant tribes. On the other hand, the UCM counter-demand for territorial integrity of Manipur is not
Genuine either. They demand for unity and integrity because they treasure the land resided in by the hill people. The natives of these phenomenal districts are not included in their quest for unity and integrity. Pending ADC election for two decades and the framing of Manipur (Hill Areas) District
Council Act, 2008 is a living proof of how valley people lead by O. Ibobi Singh wants to control over the hill areas.
If you closely monitor the nature and conduct of Thadous and Paites, you will be constrained to jog your
memory of the once Cold war played by super power USA and erstwhile USSR after the World War II. Today, the USA top the list in the table of world super power and both of these afore-said tribes wish for (demand) the role of the USA in our EIMI society. Paites along with assented few non-Naga tribes brilliantly designed ‘Zomi Council’ for unity and prosperity amongst the smaller tribes. However, for others who are not in favor of the Council, it is a hidden agenda for demanding leadership and control. It is .our tendency to demand for leadership and self-importance that breaks us into U and I even though we called ourselves EIMI.
Inane (pointless) demand is a mirror image of shyness (cunning like fox) and a sign of trailing. Demand
‘/Happiness (read as Demand is inversely proportional to Happiness). When illogical demands are far
above the ground, naturally happiness began to falter from our faces. Demand ì Happiness (read as Demand is directly proportional to Happiness) only when our demand do not trespass our neighbors’ merriment (joy), go in tandem with our friends’ demand or when our demand is made with some space of concern for our fellow beings.
