11 join GPRN/NSCN

DIMAPUR, APR 4 (NPN):Altogether 11 NSCN (I-M) United Sangtam Region (USR) activists led by its CAO in-charge, Chopong has joined GPRN/NSCN in response to “desirous aim of all true Naga patriots to unite.” “We are fully aware that unity and reconciliation of all Nagas is our immediate goal, we have also realized that for the Indo-Naga political solution to materialize, the coming together of all warring groups is most essential,” a joint press statement issued by USR CAO in-charge, Chopong; “Capt.” Lizise, JC Bn; “Lt.” Liose JC Bn; USR “Lecy”, Tsapio; USR “Razou Peyu”, Kyuritong; USR “Razou Peyu”, Ananchu; USR “Razou Peyu”, Chotrikyu; “sectional officer, kilo ministry”, Akham; “Sgt. Maj.” Sechungli JC Bn; “Sgt.Maj.” Limecho JC Bn and “Lance Crpl.” Tselise JC Bn said. The signatories said they were dismayed to receive firm orders urging them to continue offensive duties against their own Naga brothers and that they no longer desired to serve the nation even at regional level under self-centered USR leadership. The signatories said their “disillusionment” was further compounded by “Kilonser for Lota and horticulture,” T.T Among whose personal ambition remained above the Naga National aspiration. They alleged that the sorry state of affairs in USR was due to his anti-people policies at the grass root level. The signatories further alleged that one Thonglise, “a drug addict and a mere ASO” in NSCN (I-M) “chaplee ministry”, has become Among’s tax collector. “We could not ignore the misery of the common man and therefore we had to choose between few selfish leaders and the common people,” the statement said. “Therefore without fear, without malice towards anyone, we, on our own volition, resolve to commit ourselves to GPRN/NSCN,” they said.
