Imphal | September 16 (NNN): In yet another attack on non-locals in Manipur, one Rajendra Prasad of Bihar was shot at by two gunmen this evening in Imphal. The victim however survived the armed attack on him. Reports said two gunmen in a two wheeler came and shot at Rajendra Prasad from behind at Sega Road Takhelambam Leikai in Imphal West at around 6:25 pm today.
A bullet pierced through his lower jaw and came out from the mouth. The victim is now being treated at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Imphal. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. In recent time scores of non-locals had been killed in the state.
