RECRUITMENT FOR THE POSTS OF CONSTABLE (TRADESMEN) CADRE – 2010
Applications are invited from eligible male Indian citizens for filling up the following Group ‘C’ Combatised, Non-Gazetted (Non-Ministerial) posts in tradesmen cadres in SSB for the year 2010 in the pay scale of Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000 Per month plus usual and admissible allowances to Central Government employees including ration allowance, medical assistance, free uniform, free accommodation, free leave passes etc.

Pay Scale and Other Allowances :
Pay Scale : (Pay Band – 1) : Rs.5200-20200 + Grade Pay Rs.2000/- per month.

Age
(i) 18 to 23 years (Cut-off date for age will be 10-12-2010)
(ii) The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from the candidates i.e 10.12.2010 (and not the closing date prescribed for candidates of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep).

Application Fee:
Application Fee will be Rs.50/- (Non-refundable) for candidates belonging to General and OBC category only and no fee will be charged from SC / ST and Ex-Servicemen candidates. The Candidates should attach the Indian Postal Order or Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Accounts Officer, SHQ, SSB, Gorakhpur (UP)”

Last date of receipt of application is 10.12.2010 for all states except for Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiiti District and Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman &
Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep for which the last date is 17.12.2010.
