New delhi: A 40 Year old Maniuri WOman was arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly trying to ship a parcel containing 400 Grams of Heroin worth around Rs 40 Lakhs on the international Market to south Africa.
Kasung Angmphy, a resident of Ukhrul district in Manipur, was allegledy part of a gang that smuggled heroin from India to S. Africa, America, England and France. The gang Leader Leo is a Nigerian. "A mobile phone has been seized," the police said.
Angmphy was arrested on wednesday when she came to a courier company in Malviya Nagar to enquire about the booked for South Africa. The police had laid a trap to arrest her.
The courier company found the heroin hidden in secret cavities when they opened the parcel for a routine check before shipping it to South Africa. TNN
