State youth missing in Shillong

Imphal, March 20: A youth from Manipur studying at Shillong is missing from his rented room. Family suspected two girls behind the missing of the youth.

The missing boy was identified as Thangjam Satish son of late Chaoba of Sagolband Thangjam Leikai. He left for Shillong via Guwahati on February 5 by air last and reportedly reached at Shillong by the evening of the same day. In the evening, he informed the family of reaching there over phone, family members said adding that since February 7, he could not be contacted.

He is the student of TDC-IInd year at Dominic College, Shillong. He resides at room no. 53 of a rented house located near the Douglas Memorial Secondary School. When family sent a man at the Network Couriers to his rented but his room was found locked down. Family members who went at Shillong on February is tracing out his whereabouts, they said. When the rented room was opened with the permission of the owner of the house.
