On Saturday, Seikhazou blanked Life Sports C 3-0 in the first match. Zeu scored the 1st and 3rd goals in the 24th and 70th minutes respectively, while the second goal scored by Kekhrie in the 29th minute. Falcon beat United Club 4-2 in tie breaker in the second match. United Club marched in the lead in the 10th minute from Bovika’s goals, while the Falcon FC scored the equalizer goal in the 13th minuet from Zakie. New Market XI routed D Club with a big 9-0 margin win in the third match. Two goals each were scored by Seyiekhrietuo Suhu, Lemtong Konyak, Tosovi Khape and Mhasielie Krose.
Seyiekhrietuo Suhu and Lemtong Konyak scored two goals each, Tosovi Khape booted home in the 33rd and 34th minutes, Mhasielie Krose scored 8th and 9th goals. Stephen Rutsa struck the 4th goal in 31st minute.
Earlier on Friday, Phoenix XI Junior beat Idolz FC 3-0 in the first match, Kuki Zillai Kiloikhom down Tesophenyu Group Students Union 3-1 in the second match and in the 3rd match Kigwema Students Union edged out Phezou FC 5-4 vie penalty shoot-out. Both teams remained 2-2 draw in full time. - NP
