Exploitation of Human and Natural Resources

In this world of wilderness there is a strong corporate senses. Plenty for all-poverty for many. In breathing,
the out breathing and the inbreathing are equal. But suppose if it were all out breathing and no inbreathing, you
would die on a half emphasis. There is one thing and only one thing that causes breakdown in people an exploitation of resources. The change in human native changed his goals  in life. He became greedy and started to strive hard to monopolized earth's resources under private ownership and also to dominate his fellow being. His life-style become pompous and gorgeous. This necessitated him to grab more and more from nature. His value-system changed to exalt all personal achievements, even at the expenses of others, as big and covetable, outlook became too narrow, human culture itself degenerated. The net result is that
humanity is plunged into perennial conflicts of interests, ridden with all sorts of hostilities, both individual and collective. This disrupted harmony and peace everywhere on earth.

Today, basic needs of man are limited while earth's resources are unlimited if used only to meet these limited
needs. When the nature, character and culture of man became sinful, evil structure! emerged in the various realms of human action. In the economic field! the structures so emerged were exploiting. God has provided abundant resources on earth to feed all human beings and even animals for all times. God is the owner of these resources and human community has to function as God's trustees. We know that earthís resources are intended by God to cater to the basic needs of all human beings and even animals, and are not to be  squandered for gluttoning greed which causes exploitation, depletion and f resources, including the  non-renewable and damage to ecology. Greed of men are unlimited and when greed became needs, needs in turn became unlimited, when limited needs became unlimited the unlimited resources became limited. Many of
the natural resources are not readily consumable. So, they are to be converted as consumable commodities and useful services. For this, various means of production and distribution are invented in this modern scientific worl.

When unlimited resources became limited and therefore inadequate to satisfy the greed needs of man, a mad rush  is on his part to monopolise earthís resources (raw materials) and means of production and distribution under private ownership ensued. In this, only a few succeeded. They are the rich. They pick all plums from the pudding and wallow in pagan luxury. They invented many cankered to perpetuate their economic  monopoly. They devices when acquired permanency became exploiting economic structures. In the result, the poor are deprived of their basic needs. The poor are then walter in shocking poverty, in the human society on earth. The wide gulf between the rich and the poor is the direct result of exploiting economic structures. When God conferred on man the right of domination over all other creatures, He did not permit man to exercise domination over fellow-beings. But the so-called sin subverted this relationship and created bureaucratic social structures like master servant relationship, caste and class disparities, male chauvinism etc., abounding the status disparities.

Human relationship with his environment also became perverted. As stated above, depletion of resources, mainly the non-renewable, and damage of ecology are ensued. This seriously impaired his harmony with nature. Nature when left to itself has sufficient resources to supply to the needs of all human beings, without much toils on their part. But, as greeds superceded needs, nature as it is could not afford to provide all the greed needs of man. Therefore, he started to create an artificial environment, subverting the natural order
things around him. This badly ruined the naturality of his environment. So, this has plunged humanity into many
insurmountable problems, arising out of adjustment with their environment. Because of sin, man could not realise his folly. Consequently, he struggled more and more to manipulate mid modify his environment through his own creations. This tempered God's creations which enmeshed him in bigger and bigger problems, more complex and inextricate. Out of this endeavour to adjust with the unnaturality, environment, man developed a character and cultures far away from what God envisaged for his trusteeship on earth. As a result, artificiality of environment on the one hand and erosion of human culture and character on the other side, both moving at tangents festered. This widens the gulf between human character and environment. Surge of human miseries and sufferings emerging out of this mal-adjustment are the inevitable result.

In order to protect, preserve and promote the sinful exploitative economic structures and bureaucratic structures, therich strong and well organised brute force. This is because their ivory castles of  power are built on the volcano of exploitation where the lava of potential insurgence of the exploited masses boils. So, oppressive politicalstructures, saddled with military and police powers, areaccepted by them.   Through arms and muscle force, the revolt of the poor can be curtailed or externally and it need not be effective always. Hence, it became necessary to plug the fighting force of the poor and glossall evils of the rich. Ours isacut-flower civilisation. We are living withou troots. We could not answer the 'How' until we look at the ìWhatî and the 'Why' answers in this democratic country.
