The Kuki Student’s Organisation (KSO) Churachandpur District registered its condemnation over the approval by the Home Ministry for the deployment of Police commando and India Reserve Battalion (IRB) in hill districts of the state.
A statement issued by the general secretary of KSO, CCPur, Lamminlun Gangte expressed apprehension that the approval of the Home Ministry would cause insecurity in Churachandpur district.The killing trend (fake encounters) of the Police Commandos would not be welcomed in the district and so the KSO CCpur will strongly oppose the sanction of the concerned ministry, the statement asserted while appealing all the sister organisations to extend cooperation in future in this regard.
