Aizawl, Aug 4 : Preliminary survey for the sixth nation-wide Economic Census would begin from this month in all eight districts of Mizoram, an official statement said here today.
IMPHAL, July 26 : Manipur has witnessed 524 bandhs and 104 blockades in the last 15 years, from 1995 to 2010, causing a loss of Rs 2-3 crore per day due to bandhs and blockades on the highways connecting the State with the rest of the country.
