Relation between girls and married men discussed

Imphal, March 14: Problems arising out girls maintaining affair with married men was prominently discussed in a one-day discussion programme organised by the Ereibak Enat Chanura Loinashillon (EECHAL) at Manipur Press Club.

The discussion drafted 15-points resolutions which include most importantly keeping meeting Public Park for the unmarried boys and girls to be agreed by the society and safe for the girls.
To press the law enforcing agencies for taking up appropriate action to those married men having children luring unmarried girls and indulged in illicit activities and giving moral awareness to the girls to avoid from luring by such people were also included among other resolutions
The meet after a threadbare discussion by a panel also resolved to aware girls on the difficulties in future out of keeping affairs with the married en, to preserved the tradition and customary of the society and conduct awareness campaign on it.

The discussion was moderated by Reader of the DM College of Arts, Doctor Ch Shilaramani while additional public prosecutor cum government advocate Ngangom Tezkumar, Editor of Ereibak Daily, Urengbam Arun, assistant professor of Adult Continuing Education and Extension, Manipur University, Lamulu Thaimei, assistant programme executive of All India Radio, Bijaya Yumlembam, president of Kuki Women Union, prof rose Mangsi Haokip, secretary of Manipur Ladies Advocates Association, Laishram Rebeta and senior grade lecture Dr Thokchom Umabati of GP Women College attended as panel members.
