Lamka Dec 1: The CDSU threatens the Regional Director Guwahati of taking up various forms of agitation against the UBI and SBI Ccpur branches in case of failure to open more branches by virtue of the fact that the district is one of the fastest growing in various fields.
In a letter mail today the CDSU urged the director to take proactive steps within weeks time ie 7 ( seven) days so as to relief the peoples problem in relation with bank bussinesses while terming failures on the part of the officials to open a branches as a step motherly treatment meted out to the tribals of the district.
In the letter CDSU regrets the AGM , Adm Office Shillongs failure to comply with their demands by which they have made through a representation on the 17th Noveember last whereby a demand was made more mean to serve the old and infirm and for the job card holders .
The letter said lukewarm responses of the concern authority is a cause of great concern for them and deplored the occassional currency dry up at the two banks at Ccpur and the regular shortage of staffs while the countries economy is growing fast.
The letter asked on as to how long will the RBI currency dry up , is ccpur cursed to so as to be deprived of more bank branches s sufficient staffs . are they predestined to be deprived of good services and so on.
