From several press statements released by the NSCN-IM in the media we have come to learn that Muivah has again indulged in false propaganda to further his political interests at the cost of the hundreds of Kukis that he had killed. As such, it is for the benefit of all and sundry that the Kuki Inpi should lay bare the sinister design of Muivah’s efforts to hide his crime of war against humanity in the murder of over 900 Kukis including women and children during the last decade.

 In the ‘Morung Express’ and other local newspapers it was reported that Muivah, during his latest sojourn at camp Hebron, was quoted to have reaffirmed the support of the KTU (Kuki Tribal Union) to his militant organisation. This came as a surprise to the Kuki people as to which section of the Kuki community has he referred to when he mentioned the Kuki tribe as part and parcel of the Naga movement. Because the Kuki people have any knowledge of what the KTU is and how was it established. As far as the Kuki people are concerned there is nothing such as Kuki Tribal Union which represents any Kuki tribes.
This KTU is a farce and a concoction of the NSCN-IM to make itself seen in good light in the eyes the international community. The NSCN-IM had carried out aggressions against the Kuki people for many years, so there is no question of a Kuki tribe supporting the NSCN-IM ever.
The Kuki Inpi investigated all about the KTU and found beyond any doubt that it is an agency comprising of two or three persons under the payroll of the NSCN-IM. Further investigation has shown these people to be vagabonds who work for money with the NSCN-IM for quite a while now. These people are now taking refuge with the NSCN-IM in Nagaland. They are subsisting from the handouts of their NSCN-IM masters who doled out cabinet berths in their organisation and showered them with houses, vehicles and dough.
So, the Kuki Inpi is issuing an edict to the Kuki people concerning these people who called themselves as the KTU. The Kuki Inpi deems these members of the KTU as vagabonds, traitors and spies who pledged allegiance to the perpetrators of crime against the Kuki people. These turncoats should not be given refuge by any one. They are not the people to be trusted and they should be excommunicated from the society because of their anti- Kuki activities.
The Kuki Inpi also makes it clear to the international community that the NSCN-IM has been trying to erase its criminal records and its involvement in the politics of ethnics cleansing. So it is clandestinely recruiting people to work for their organisation in the form of agencies such as the KTU. The NSCN-IM ethnic cleansing policy in the Kuki people in the last decade has become a stumbling block to their effort to garner support from several international forums. The hand of NSCN-IM is stained with the bloods of innocent Kuki people including women and children. Its heinous crimes have become unparallel to war crimes committed by the Nazis during the World War II, Khmer Rouge in Cambodia etc.
The Kuki Inpi will leave no stone unturned to expose the sinister design of the NSCN-IM to exonerate itself from its war crimes in the face of the international community. This KTU is no doubt a brainchild of Muivah to shed his image of the tyrannical and the despotic leader that he has become. Hence, he is performing their political juggernaut by trying to show to the world that the people he had once persecuted have finally decided to support him. But no man in his right minds would believe this political gimmick.
