Imphal, April 25: Continuing with its efforts to provide assistance to locals and to ensure equitable development in all the regions of Manipur, troops of Red Shield Division assisted the people of Saikul by constructing a level ground for a bus stand.
Saikul being an important town in Senapati District and over the past few
years has grown rapidly.
A need was felt by the people for a bus stand to avoid congestion in the narrow road at the Saikul Bazar area. Responding to their request, a dozer was made available to them. The work of leveling of the ground for construction of the bus stand is now nearing completion, is under the supervision of 36 Assam Rifle.
