Manipur bags 4 medals in Wushu

Ranchi, Feb 13 : N Roushan Singh of Manipur bagged the gold medal under Changkaquan category of Wushu in the 34th National Games here W Bijen Singh of Armed services got silver medal with 8.17 points, while H Dewan Singh of Madhya Pradesh had to be content with the third place.

Under women category of the same event, Manipur won all the three gold, silver and bronze medals.

Y Sapna Devi was placed first with 8.35 points, A Toshibala was placed with 8.31 points and P Thoibi Devi was placed third with 7.22 points.

Under Nanquan Men, S Somorjit was placed first with 8.58 points, Sajan Lama of Delhi second with 8.31 points and S Boro Singh of Manipur with 8.28 points.

While S Chaobi Devi was placed first with 7.49 points, A Babina Devi of Madhya Pradesh was placed second with 6.51 points and Karmjit Kaur was placed third with 6.20 points under Naqnquan women category.-UNI
