IMPHAL, Mar 15: Reacting to news report on ab- duction of one Longjam Ba-santa of Ikou Bazar, Kuki National Front (KNF) clarified that none of its cadres were involved in the incident. In a statement, infor- mation and publicity secretary of the outfit LH Stephen further warned all those misusing name of the organisation in carrying out such anti-social and criminal activities and said that the Front will spare no effort in tracking them down and award befitting punishment.
It is the policy of the Front to root out such anti-social elements so that peace and progress can prevail in the society, Stephen said, while appealing to the general public to be aware of such anti-social elements and co-operate with the organisation in its endeavour of putting an end to such practices in the society.
