Imphal, Nov 07(HNS): The Thadou Students’ Association (TSA), Sadar Hills District, Manipur has earnestly appealed to the govt of Manipur, particularly to the Education Minister to declare the long pending Primary Teachers' recruitment result 2006 at the earliest possible. In a press release, S Haokip, Secretary, Information and Publicity, TSA, Sadar Hills said that more than four years have passed that the DPC-faced candidates have been waiting for the results to be declared with heart and soul. When the list of successful candiates was published in Hueiyen Lanpao, the authority tried to disown it saying that it was null and void.

It was quite astonishing and ridiculous that how and why the authority took such a long time in declaring and sanctifying the result which has just a few numbers while UPSC, SSC, SBI, etc. take not more than 10-12 months in declaring recruitment results of thousands of candidates that entail conducting three/four stages of examinations such as Preliminary, Mains, Group discussions, personal interview, etc. But in the case of Manipur, the candidates have to wait a minimum period of two to three years, may be more, just to get the results of any exam declared irrespective of departments, S Haokip's press release said.

The TSA drew attention of the concerned department/minister to declare the said pending result as soon as possible in the interest of the candidates in particular, and the public in general so as to avert unwanted consequences.

TSA urges govt to declare DPC result discussions, personal interview, etc. But in the case of Manipur, the candidates have to wait a minimum period of two to three years, may be more, just to get the results of any exam declared irrespective of departments, S Haokip's press release said.
