Now, students from the North-east will have a unique opportunity at the upcoming AssamTribune EduFair ’10 to have answer to this. For the first time in the region, students got the opportunity to appear for ‘Psychometric and Cognitive Tests’ in Edufair ’09 last year. Students will have another opportunity this year again to appear for these tests right here in Guwahati at the EduFair 2010 venue.
“This career assessment will help students to understand their abilities, interests, personality traits, etc. which will enable them to make an informed career choice,” informed Sangeeta Goswami, Counselling Psychologist, MIND India.
“Students will also get individual personalised career counselling for choosing the best career path suited for them,” said Goswami.
Dr DD Mali, founder director of Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, Guwahati said, “This is a rare opportunity and should not be missed by a single student of the North-east. The Assam Tribune Group has provided this fantastic opportunity and it will immensely benefit the students in taking suitable decision in their careers.”
“Students from the North-east do not get proper exposure as compared to students from other parts of the country, and also remain confused whether they want to study medical or engineering, management or commerce, etc. This test will give them theopportunity to clear all doubts and therefore every student should appear for this test,” said Sanjay Singh, Regional Director of Acharya Institutes, Bangalore.
Students can register their name at the venue on the days of the fair or call 0361- 2667269 or 98645-00658 from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm for further details.
