Memo complains

IMPHAL, Mar 11: The Thadou-Kuki Literature Society, manipur has submitted a memorandum to the Secretary, Board of Higher Secondary Education, manipur pointing out that nature of questions in the ongoing HSLC Exam 2010 in respect of Thadou-Kuki subject is filled with errors.
Observing that the error might have crept in when Board officials concerned prepared questions from the old syllabus, the Society representation said a total of 15 questions carrying 26 marks were among the erroneous ones.
It listed questions No 3,4,6,7,10,15,16,19,21,26,27,28, 32,33 and 45 as the guilty ones.

Conveying that parents as well as students and student bodies have begun to express suspicion that inefficiency of the Society led to the mistakes, the memorandum urged the Secretary to take up remedial measures and rectify the mistakes at the earliest.

Meanwhile, TSE's Churachandpur correspondent also quoted Kapkholal Singsit, an assistant teacher of Sal brook School, Tuibuong as saying that atleast 11 questions of Thadou-Kuki subject in the ongoing examination is out of syllabus. As these questions command a total of 22 marks, students of the Sal Brook School whose past records had been impressive as well as others stand to suffer the most owing to incompatibility of the Board officials, the teacher reportedly said.
